Level 4 Providing Complimentary Therapies For People With Life Limiting Conditions

The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Providing Therapies for Clients with Cancer or Other Life Limiting Conditions qualificaiton will prepare you to work within a healthcare setting providing complementary therapies for clients who are suffering life limiting conditions or who are critically frail. Complementary therapies are widely available to people with cancer and increasingly to patients with a range of long term medical and life limiting conditions. These therapies are delivered alongside orthodox treatments, often within the healthcare setting, with the aim of providing psychological and emotional support through the relief of symptoms. This qualification is designed to give you the essential knoweldge to assist you to provide your theraputic skills within a clinical setting.
This qualification is mainly based in case studies, Time spent in the academy will vary for each students needs, however typically it is 1 day per month for Theory instruction. You will identify and carry out case studies on clients recording and writing up notes for your evidence
All units within this qualification are mandatory. Units in this qualification have been mapped to the relevant NOS- National Occupational Standards (where applicable).
Level 4 Salon Management – 12 weeks - £995
The VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management (QCF) is an advanced qualification that has been specifically designed for existing or aspiring salon managers. Throughout this qualification you will plan the management of products and services for your salon by; analysing data for planning purposes, set operational objectives, monitor working practices, evaluate stock control and equipment levels and provide recommendations to increase salon revenue.
You will research, monitor and recommend improvements to ensure the health, safety and security, the quality of client care and management of sales for your salon. From the optional unit section of this qualification you have the opportunity to select an area of study which is most relevant to your business needs.
This could be; the interesting area of research into the latest products and techniques, public relations (PR), IT and data handling, human resources, salon design and marketing for the hair and beauty sector. Alternatively, you may wish to develop your advanced technical skills in, for example, hair colour correction, micro dermabrasion or laser and light treatments.
